Christ is to live in His human agents and work through their faculties and act through their capabilities. Their will must be submitted to His will; they must act with His Spirit. Then it is no more they that live, but Christ that lives in them.

Maybe it is just that discussing Bible topics with good spelling has been such a tenuous matter, discussing Bible subjects with poor spelling, where one could be misunderstood, could cause unnacessorie divvicultiees.

I think this the verse you all are referring to here:

Quote
Revelation 10:6 -- And sware by him that liveth for ever and ever, who created heaven, and the things that therein are, and the earth, and the things that therein are, and the sea, and the things which are therein, that there should be time no longer:

Have any of you studied this verse, or this phrase, from the Scriptures to know what it means?  Comparing it with other verses in which the same, or nearly the same, expression is used?

Dan. 12:[6] And one said to the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, How long shall it be to the end of these wonders?
[7] And I heard the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand unto heaven, and sware by him that liveth for ever that it shall be for a time, times, and an half; and when he shall have accomplished to scatter the power of the holy people, all these things shall be finished.
[8] And I heard, but I understood not: then said I, O my Lord, what shall be the end of these things?
[9] And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end.

i believe that these are parallel....  WDYT?

So far, I would say that's right, rahab.  There seems to be quite a bit of discussion over what it means when the Bible says, "there should be time no longer."  Have you looked into what that means?  time no longer?

Quote
[4] And when the seven thunders had uttered their voices, I was about to write: and I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Seal up those things which the seven thunders uttered, and write them not.
[5] And the angel which I saw stand upon the sea and upon the earth lifted up his hand to heaven,
[6] And sware by him that liveth for ever and ever, who created heaven, and the things that therein are, and the earth, and the things that therein are, and the sea, and the things which are therein, that there should be time no longer:
[7] But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets.

Quote
[8] And I heard, but I understood not: then said I, O my Lord, what shall be the end of these things?
[9] And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end.
[10] Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand.
[11] And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days.

Time no longer....  a first impression might be that probation has closed but when you read more you see that in revelation it says:  .............
Quote
and the things that therein are, and the earth, and the things that therein are, and the sea, and the things which are therein, that there should be time no longer

This seems to be indicating that after the thunders and after the 7th angel has sounded..... it is finished, the earth, the sea and all things there in.......  very soon Jesus will appear in the clouds.
